Cordouan Lighthouse
Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 7 p.m. eastern time

The South of France is known for many things: natural beauty, cultural richness, picturesque villages, vineyards, fresh produce, fine wines and azure coastlines, plus 30 beautiful lighthouses.

The USLHS is offering a tour of this region, June 5th to 22nd. In addition to the lighthouses, the tour will include landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, and Notre Dame Cathedral. One of the tour highlights will be a visit to the famous Cordouan Lighthouse. Built in 1611, it's considered a Renaissance masterpiece and is known as the "Patriarch of Lighthouses."

Join tour leader Wanda Mayo, USLHS Executive Director Jeff Gales, and USLHS Historian Jeremy D'Entremont for a preview of this exciting tour, with Q and A time included. There's still time to sign up for the tour - click here.
