Illuminating Apparatus: Lens was in good condition & clean in all its parts.
Service Lamp: In good condition in all respects.
Oil: Found to be clear & clean. It had not been filtered.
Service Lamp Burner: Not in very good condition, not having been cleaned for the day.
Service Lamp Burner Level: It deviated slightly from the level.
Plate Glass: In good condition, free from scratches & stains.
Lens Cover: Was on the lens, was clean, made of linen sheeting & is kept in the lantern room when not in use.

Grounds: There is only a small yard. It is in tolerable order. The little yard looks very well.

Lens: It is not permitted to touch the lens improperly.

Lucernes or Matches: There were matches & a lucerne in the lantern room. The Keeper's attention was called to the impropriety of their being there.
Heater: The Keeper knows how to use the heater, & is provided w/ one.
Ventilation: Keeper understands use of the ventilators & how to air the bldg.
Dome: They were so painted. The lightning conductor was in good order & led into the ground.
