2025 France South By Southwest

Day 1 - Thursday - June 5, 2025 
    We will meet in Marseille at the Radison Blu Hotel.  We will have social hour and Welcome Dinner here this evening.

Day 2 - Friday - June 6, 2025
     Today we board a boat for an all-day trip to view 5 lighthouses: Phare de Sainte Marie, Phare de la Désirade, Phare du Chateau d'If, Phare de I'lle Planier, and Phare de Sourdaras.  We will have lunch on board.  In the evening, we will dine at a local restaurant.  Second night here.

Day 3 - Saturday - June 7, 2025
     We board another boat today for a morning trip to see Phare Fort de Bouc and guided tour of the Fort.  After that we will have lunch nearby.  We will travel by bus to Fos sure Mer to view Phare de St. Gervais.  We will travel to Arles where we will spend the night in a hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 - Sunday - June 8, 2025
     Today we board the bus and explore Le Grau du Roi where we will view Maison du Phare.  We will also see Feu de la Jetée Est and Feu de la Jetée Quest on our way to Port Camargue.  We will stop to have lunch and then continue to view Parking des Baronnets.  Here we will walk to enter Phare de l'Espiguette.  Next, we will journey to Montpellier for an overnight stay in hotel and dinner in the hotel.

Day 5 - Monday - June 9, 2025
       After breakfast we will board the bus and travel to Sete where will have entrance to Phare Saint Louis.  Next stop will be lunch at Cap d'Agde local restaurant.  After lunch we will have a short boat cruise so we can view Phare de la Digue and Phare du For Brescou.  After the cruise we travel to Perpignan for overnight hotel stay and dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 - Tuesday - June 10, 2025
       On the bus and travel to Cerbere where we will view Phare du Cap Cerbere.  Next we will travel to Collioure to view Phare de Collioure.  Our next stop will be lunch at a local restaurant. Then we will go back to Perpignan for the 2nd night stay at that hotel.  You will have some time to explore the area.  Dinner will be at a local restaurant.

Day 7 - Wednesday - June 11, 2025
       After breakfast we will board the bus for Carcassonne.  We will have a walking tour of the city viewing the main sights.  We will have entrance to Chateau Comtal, Basilica and Ramparts.  Lunch will be following the tour at a local restaurant.  The rest of the day is free to explore the city.  Dinner will be at a local restaurant, and we will stay at a hotel in this city.

Day 8 - Thursday - June 12, 2025
       Today we will have a long bus ride to Biarritz.  There will be rest stops along the way and a picnic lunch.  When we arrive, we will have dinner in the hotel where we will be staying.  

Day 9 - Friday - June 13, 2025
        In the morning, we will bus to Ciboure where we will see Ciboure Lighthouse.  Then we will travel to St. Jean de Luz and explore the area including seeing St. Jean de Luz Lighthouse.  We will have lunch and then head back to Biarritz for an afternoon tour of the city which will include entrance into Phare de Biarritz.  Dinner will be at a local restaurant, and we will have 2nd night in this hotel.

Day 10 - Saturday - June 14, 2025
         On the bus and travel to Sain Julien en Born.  Here we will have entrance into Phare de Contis.  After lunch we will travel to Arcachon.  We will have the afternoon free to explore this city.  We will stay overnight here and dinner will be in the hotel.

Day 11 - Sunday - June 15, 2025
          Today we take a passenger ferry to Lege Cap Ferret where we will walk to Phare du Cap Ferret.  We will have entrance into this lighthouse.  After this we will have lunch and then ferry back to Arcachon.  You will have another afternoon free in this city and we will be staying a second night here.  Dinner will be in a local restaurant.

Day 12 - Monday - June 16, 2025
          After breakfast we will board the bus and journey to Jau Dignac et Loirac where we will have entrance into Phare de Richard.  Then we will have lunch and then continue on to Le Ferdon sur Mer where we will see Phare de Cordouan.  Next we will board another ferry with the bus and go to Royan.  We will stay in a hotel here and have dinner in the hotel.

Day 13 - Tuesday - June 17, 2025
           This morning, we will have a boat ride to Courdouan Lighthouse.  After we return to port we will have lunch and then continue to Saint-Palais sure Mer.  There will be a photo stop to see Phare de Terre-Negre.  Then on to Saint George de Didonne.  Here we will have entrance into Phare de Vallieres.  We return to Royan for our second night in this city and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 14 - Wednesday - June 18, 2025
            We travel to La Tremblade for entrance into Phare de la Coubre.  Then we head to Saint Denis d'Oleron for entrance into Phare de Chassiron.  Lunch is next and then on to La Rochelle where we will spend the night and have dinner in the hotel.

Day 15 - Thursday - June 19, 2025
          Today we have a full day traveling around the area.  First is to Saint Clement des Baleines where we will have entrance into Phare des Baleines and the museum.  We have lunch and then from there we go to Ars en Re and do a photo stop for Phare de Chanchardon.  We then go to Saint Martin de Re and another photo stop to see Phare Chauveau. We return to La Rochelle for second night and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 16 - Friday - June 20, 2025
             This morning, we have a guided tour on the bus of La Rochelle and the local lights.  We will see Phare Vert du Quai Valin and Phare Rouge.  We will have lunch at a local restaurant and then have an afternoon cruise where we will see Phare de I'lle d'Aix.  We will have a 3rd night at this city and dinner at a local restaurant.  

Day 17 - Saturday - June 21, 2025
             This morning the bus delivers us to a train station, and we ride to Paris on the train.  Lunch will be enroute.  When we arrive we get a panoramic tour and then on to the hotel.  This evening, we will have the Farewell dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 18 - Sunday - June 22, 2025
              Breakfast and then flights home.
